There were some rumblings earlier in this lockout that the NHL was considering playing games on Christmas Day. While would be a giant pain in the ass for everyone involved (and the NBA is already pretty established on Dec. 25), it could still happen whenever the league announces a new CBA. For now though, these are the rules that apply:
